we're off to see the wizard!

This years recital is in STORYBOOK format! The routines will tell a continuous story from the first routine thru the last. You will see a change in our performance schedule from years past. This format will also allow more opportunity for the younger dancers' families to attend. Keep your eyes peeled for your favorite Wizard of Oz characters to make an appearance!

Recital Tickets will go on sale May 11th at 9:00am. Tickets are $10 each, plus fees. We are continuing with the digital ticketing platform as we have in years past.

Ticket sales are limited to 10 Tickets PER FAMILY (12 including your 2 free tickets with your recital fee). You can purchase tickets for any performance, but no more than 10 per family total. We do this to ensure that all families have a chance to watch their dancers within the venues available seating.

All tuition fees must be paid before tickets will be made available to you for purchase. Information on how to access the digital ticketing site will be sent out to families before tickets go on sale.

At this time, tickets will not be on sale to the general public to ensure that all families get the seats they need.

Recital T-Shirts are on sale in the Dance Shop. $20 + tax
Must order in the shop. Shirt orders will be placed on May 1st, May 15th and June 1st.
Late orders can be picked up during summer break if they’re not finished by recital.

Recital Videos are free for all families with your paid Recital Fee. Videos will be distributed digitally to the email on file in your parent portal.

Parent volunteers are always needed! Sign up in the studio lobby for dressing room supervision and save yourself a ticket. Responsibilities include helping keep kiddos quiet, occupied, and safe while they wait for their turn to perform or to be picked up. All parent volunteers will receive a $25 Gift Certificate towards September Fees (1 per parent).

Doors will open 30 (thirty) minutes before each performance time.

YES - if you want to sit in the audience, you need a ticket.

Parents can opt to volunteer as dressing room assistance in lieu of a ticket. Sign up sheets are posted in the studio lobby.

YES - if your younger child cannot be a lap sitter for 100% of the performance, they need a seat. Seats cannot be reserved for holding toddlers or car seats without a ticket. Children over the age of 5 must have a ticket so as not to impede on the viewing experience of other patrons. Most performances WILL sell out and we do not have space to hold seats.

NO - dancers are welcome to hangout in the dressing room until the end of the recital performance or you can pick them and take them home if they are done for the night. Most performances WILL sell out and we do not have space to hold seats.

NO MEN in the girls dressing room - PERIOD. Dads/Uncles/Brothers/Grandpas coming to retrieve your dancer must notify a volunteer mom and they can bring your dancer out to you. There will be many dancers changing and you will not be allowed in for their protection and safety.

There will be a designated boys dressing room for our male dancers.

Dancers with multiple costume changes should be sure to have their costumes labeled with their names with a bag to put them in so they don't get lost or mixed up with other dancers.

No heavily dyed food or drink - water only preferably - to avoid accidental spills and stains on costumes or other belongings.

ABSOLUTELY NO RUNNING in or around dressing rooms. Dance shoes & tights are VERY SLICK especially on tiled areas, so please no running, jogging, or skipping while waiting your turn.

Keep voices down - sound travels out onto the stage!

Be kind and respectful of your fellow dancer and give them adequate space to land with their belongings. Do not dig or search through bags that do not belong to you without explicit permission..

If you have a long wait between performances, bring something to do. We are not responsible for broken or misplaced electronics.
